At the conclusions of each season, the baseball coaching staff selects the Wolverine of the Year.  A specially crafted wooden baseball bat is presented to the player who most exemplifies the "traits of a champion."  This player optimizes all around excellence in academics, citizenship, sportsmanship, athletic skills, and leadership.
